Welcome to the UCSB Flexwork Program web site! UCSB is excited to offer employees the option of flexwork arrangements in the effort to promote better work/life balance, to benefit the Santa Barbara community through less traffic congestion and air pollution, and to realize cost savings for the University.

UCSB is participating as a flexwork pioneer in Santa Barbara County and is receiving individually tailored consulting, training and other services from the Telecommuting Advantage Group, (TAG). TAG is a professional consulting firm that has developed structured, sustainable flexwork programs for small and Fortune 500 companies of all types and regional, state and federal agencies.

Whether you are an employee interested in applying for a flexwork arrangement, or a manager/supervisor considering your employees’ requests, this site will support you with instructions, required documents, and tools to complete the process. Information on this site that links to the FlexWork Santa Barbara website may not be applicable to non-profit organizations, government agencies or UCSB.
